Pilgrims of Hope: Sent to Encounter, Called to Shine

Twenty-six years ago, a small group of young hearts gathered in prayer, music, and mission. They were called Breviarians — servants of Christ through the Liturgy, the Eucharist, and the arts. Since then, the Lord has been faithful. Each Big Tent Festival has become a sacred moment where faith is renewed, friendships deepen, and vocations are born.

Today, as we celebrate our 20th Breviarian Big Tent Festival here in Thailand, we continue this journey — this time as Pilgrims of Hope in the spirit of the Jubilee Year 2025. We are being led by Christ to encounter new faces, embrace new cultures, and share the joy of being Catholic through the Eucharist — the Brev way.

This journey is not ours alone. We invite you, fellow Brevs, our brothers and sisters, to journey with us in prayer. Pray that every song we sing, every Mass we celebrate, and every person we meet may become an encounter with the living Christ.

As Jesus once said, “Come and see.” And so we have come — to be renewed, to be sent, and to carry His light wherever He leads us next. May our steps in Thailand be steps of hope for the world.

Last August 31, 2025, in our little way, we remembered what Jesus said: “I was in prison and you visited me.” (Matthew 25:36)

We came not only to bring food, medicines, and essentials—but also to bring the message that they are not forgotten, and that mercy is greater than mistakes. Behind every uniform is a human soul longing for dignity, forgiveness, and hope. And behind every prisoner is a family praying for healing and reunion.
As Breviarians, we believe compassion should flow both ways: to those behind the walls and to those quietly suffering outside them. May our presence remind them—and us—that God’s mercy reaches the darkest of places, and His love knows no chains.

With deep gratitude, we thank the facilitators of this Prison Ministry Outreach spearheaded by the Balatoc Brevs chapter. Our heartfelt thanks as well to all the donors, sponsors, and prayer warriors who made this mission possible. Truly, this was not just an outreach—it was an outpouring of God’s mercy through each of you.

In this Sunday’s Gospel (Luke 10:25–37), Jesus reminds us that love isn’t just a feeling—it’s a decision to act. To see the wounded. To stop. To serve.

From Antipolo, Baguio, Bangkok, to wherever God calls us, we Breviarians are on mission—living proof that faith must be more than words.

It must be witness.
It must be mercy in motion.
So here’s the question that matters today:
Will you walk past, or will you reach out?
Will you cross the road, or will you cross the line into someone’s pain with compassion?
Because someone out there needs your presence more than your opinion.
And maybe—just maybe—you were the answer to their prayer all along.

Tita Mau’s Heartfelt Sharing at Brevolution 2025: A Mother’s Witness to 25 Years of God’s Faithfulness

“Trials make saints out of our littleness.” šŸ•Š️

These aren’t just words — they are the lived wisdom of one of our very own Mother Brevs, Sis. Maureen Leuzzi.

She’s been with us since Day 1 —
Back when the Brevs didn’t even have a name.
When gatherings meant borrowed speakers, handwritten schedules, youthful dreams, and humble beginnings.
When her own sons, Ricardo and Quintin, served and grew within the heart of this community.

Tita Mau has witnessed our trials, triumphs, tears, and tenacity.
But she never stood on the sidelines — she prayed with us, cheered for us, believed in our mission, and reminded us, again and again, of the eternal value of what we do.

šŸ’¬ “What could be better than seeing your child serve the Lord?”
šŸ’¬ “Dear Jesus, You have indeed blessed the Brevs.”

During our 25th founding anniversary, she stood before us not just as a sharer — but as a living testimony of grace, perseverance, and spiritual motherhood.

We honor you, Tita Mau.
Thank you for mothering this movement with prayer, presence, and profound love.

From littleness to legacy — the Brevs march on.
