"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." 1 Corinthians 1:18

the Cross is a sign of contradiction. It was invented to inflict the most painful of a slow death to the crucified. And yet in His mercy and goodness, God through Jesus Christ made it the sign of our salvation; that through Christ and Him crucified all our iniquities are nailed with him so that we may gain freedom from sin and darkness and the power of Satan.

King David rightfully said in his psalm, "The Lord said to my Lord, sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet." (Psalm 110:1)

While the Cross is the centrepiece, two letters appear on the sides -- the letter B and its inversion - meaning "Brev is a verb."

The Breviarians take upon themselves an active role and participation in building the Kingdom of God through the one. holy, catholic, and apostolic Church, " for charity covers a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8); that as we work hard for our salvation, we save others in the process. The words of the apostle James cannot emphasize it enough, " Let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins." (James 5:20)

Let it be known besides that the two letters also stands for the letter M - standing for Music and Media, where souls are gathered, taught, and led;  tools handed to us in order to "bring every soul to Christ the King."
